FAQs

How do I choose and reserve my pup?

Puppies are available for reservation only after your application has been reviewed and approved. Once approved, a $200 deposit secures your place in the selection order and allows you to choose from available puppies. This process helps ensure thoughtful placements and reduces pressure for both families and puppies.

Is there a contract involved?

Yes. We use a simple, clear contract that outlines expectations for both families and our program. It’s designed to protect the puppy’s long-term wellbeing and ensure transparency throughout the adoption process. You can review the contract here before applying.

What is included when I take my puppy home?

Each puppy goes home with a starter kit that includes health records, age-appropriate guidance for the transition period, and familiar items to help your puppy settle in comfortably. We aim to make the first weeks at home as smooth and supported as possible.

When are puppies available?

Puppies are typically ready to go home after 8 weeks of age or later, depending on the individual puppy and litter. We prioritize readiness and stability over rushing go-home dates, especially for family placements.

Do you help match puppies to families?

Yes. While families may express preferences, we consider temperament, energy level, and family dynamics when finalizing placements. Our goal is a good long-term fit, not just first impressions.

Are your puppies raised in a home or kennel?

Our puppies are raised in a real home environment and are exposed to normal household life, children, and daily routines. This helps them transition more smoothly into family homes.

What health care do puppies receive before going home?

Puppies receive age-appropriate veterinary care, including deworming and vaccinations, and come with documented health records. Parent dogs are DNA tested through Embark for added transparency.

Do you offer support after adoption?

Yes. Although we cannot take back your puppy after pick up or offer refunds, we remain available to our puppy families for guidance and questions beyond go-home day. Responsible placement doesn’t end at pickup.
